Our mission
The bees live as they naturally would and their benefits reach more people. Our goal is to raise Yem’s Zone bee population throughout the city and at the same time spread awareness among the community.
Our hope is that these backyard hives will facilitate a dialogue among neighbours, friends, family and the community at large about the huge importance of bees.

Forest honey
The production process of Forest Honey is very particular: while other honey varieties are produced by honeybees using flower nectar, Forest Honey is made from honeydew excreted by certain trees under specific humidity conditions
Creamed honey
Creamed honey is honey that has been processed to control crystallization. Creamed honey contains a large number of small crystals, which prevent the formation of larger crystals that can occur in unprocessed honey. The processing also produces a honey with a smooth spreadable consistency.
Meadow honey
Meadow honey. If honey is labelled “Meadow Honey,” that usually means that the area(s) that the bees collected nectar from was in a meadow. Meadows are open fields that host a unique variety of plants and grasses.
Liquid honey
Liquid honey is basically honey's natural form: when produced by the bees and stored in the comb in the hive, honey is in a liquid state. Aside from being filtered and pasteurized, Bee Maid's liquid honey you can buy on the shelves is the same honey that you find in the hives.
